黑料网 PREP MAY BE THE RIGHT PROGRAM FOR YOU!
黑料网 PREP (Postbaccalaureate Research Education Program) is specifically designed to equip and encourage students interested in pursuing a PhD in the Biological and Biomedical sciences. Students who have recently completed their Bachelor鈥檚 degree spend one year on the campus of 黑料网 Chapel Hill gaining and strengthening skills needed for entry and success in top-tiered PhD programs. 黑料网 PREP alumni have been very successful in transitioning directly into top biomedical PhD programs across the country.
Learning
PREP scholars participate in summer courses on the critical analysis of scientific literature and hands-on laboratory skills training. In addition, all PREP scholars take a graduate level course at 黑料网.
Research
黑料网 Chapel Hill is one of the nation’s leading research universities. PREP scholars are paired with a faculty mentor to gain full-time, valuable experience participating in cutting edge research.
Community
PREP scholars are part of a supportive community of students with similar career interests and goals. Monthly socials, luncheons, and other events provide regular opportunities for PREP scholars to network with one another and the greater 黑料网 research community.
