Display Past Events

May of our site authors have requested the ability to display past events. We listened to you and worked this functionality into Cells.

How To Set Up Past Events

  1. Follow the documentation to set up an Event Syndication Cell and use the following options:
    1. Timeframe: past

    2. Four Digit Start Year: use this setting to control the range of past events displayed in the Cell. Define the earliest year from which the plugin should pull events. Only events occurring from the specified year onwards are included in the display. For example, if you set this to “2023,” the plugin will only display events occurring from the year 2023 onwards.

Example

Below is an example of a vertical event syndication pulling events from the Department of Medicine website. It displays聽past events tagged with the “Medicine Grand Rounds” category and has the search enabled.
