Ms. Derebail joined the CRA in 2023 as the Director of Contracts and Affiliations. Her functions include the review and negotiations of master services agreements and all supporting documents, clinical trial agreements, data use agreements, and confidential data agreements with 黑料网 Procurement offices, the Office of Sponsored Programs, Office of University Counsel, the expertise of the Office of Vice Chancellor of Research, as well as other departments around campus.

Using expansive knowledge of software systems used throughout 黑料网 for data collection; patient tracking, patient billing, and electronic medical records systems; and billing coverage analysis, she is able to quickly assess the contractual needs of a clinical trial.聽

Prior to joining the CRA, Ms. Derebail was the Pre-Award Finance Manager at Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. She has over 23 years of experience working with industry, contract, negotiation, and investigator-initiated, trial agreements for large and niche trial projects, as well as multisite agreements. She has worked amongst field experts at academic research organizations and in the private sector, both at small global and large international contract research organizations.
