Thane Blinman, MD, MBA is a Professor in the Division of Pediatric Surgery and Executive Vice Chair for Business and Innovation. He specializes in pediatric surgeries including: minimally invasive surgery, thoracic surgery (CPAM, CLE, bronchogenic cyst, myasthenia gravis, tracheomalacia, etc.), foregut disease (gastroesophageal reflux disease, hiatal hernia, achalasia, duplications, etc.), and biliary disease (biliary atresia, choledochal cyst, etc.) .听 Learn more about his background and听read his interview听on the opportunities at 黑料网 Surgery.
Robert Hanfland, MD Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery, is board certified in congenital cardiac surgery and thoracic surgery.听 He brings his expertise in pediatric and adult congenital heart surgery to the 黑料网 Children鈥檚 Heart Center and the Department of Surgery.听 Most recently, Dr. Hanfland graduated from the Surgical Leadership Program at Harvard Medical School.听Read more about his background and his interview here.听
Trevor Wood, MD, PharmD, FRCSC, FACS is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery.听 He specializes in colon and rectal surgery, inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer, and diverticulitis.听 Read more about his background and his interview on the collaborative approach to complex surgical care and more.
Kevin Calder, MD is the newest 黑料网 Surgery faculty member.听 As Associate Professor of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, he specializes in pediatric surgery, craniofacial surgery, cleft lip/palate surgery, hand and breast surgeries.听 In addition to teaching at 黑料网 and conducting clinical research,听Dr. Calder is听global leader in cleft care.听 He has听been to听over 21 countries performing cleft surgeries in the past 10 years听with Operation Smile.听He served听as听the co-chair听of听their听surgical council听and played an integral role in听educating surgeons in developing countries听on听how to perform cleft听and cleft-related听surgeries.
