Thane Blinman, MD, MBA is a Professor in the Division of Pediatric Surgery and Executive Vice Chair for Business and Innovation. Kevin Calder, MD is the newest ºÚÁÏÍø Surgery faculty member.Ìý As Associate Professor of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, he specializes in pediatric surgery, craniofacial surgery, cleft lip/palate surgery, hand and breast surgeries.Ìý In addition to teaching at ºÚÁÏÍø and conducting clinical research,ÌýDr. Calder isÌýglobal leader in cleft care.Ìý He hasÌýbeen toÌýover 21 countries performing cleft surgeries in the past 10 yearsÌýwith Operation Smile.ÌýHe servedÌýasÌýthe co-chairÌýofÌýtheirÌýsurgical councilÌýand played an integral role inÌýeducating surgeons in developing countriesÌýonÌýhow to perform cleftÌýand cleft-relatedÌýsurgeries.
