About
Dr. Hunt-Harrison has had diverse career experiences over the past two decades. She has provided direct patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, served on clinical research teams, worked as a peer advisor in the public mental health sector, and led as coordinator for medical students and psychiatric trainees on the child adolescent unit at a state psychiatric hospital. She is Board Certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Her clinical work is primarily focused on psychiatric treatment of children and adolescents in the acute inpatient setting. As Vice Chair of Mental Health Equity, she is committed to the attainment of equitable access to quality mental healthcare and meaningful outcomes for all North Carolinians.
