Dr. Dawkins recently received the Dr. Mary G. Austrom Women in Psychiatry Award! The award was presented by alumni, Dr. Emily Holmes, currently psychiatry faculty member at Indiana University School of Medicine, 黑料网 Psychiatry Class of 2016.
The Dr. Mary G. Austrom Women in Psychiatry Award is presented each year by the聽Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry to recognize an outstanding woman in the field of psychiatry. The award honors the memory of Dr. Mary Austrom, a Professor of Clinical Psychology who was committed to mentorship and the advancement of women at IU.聽 In 2007 she created the Women in Psychiatry Award to recognize the accomplishments and contributions of women across the field of Psychiatry.聽 When Dr. Austrom tragically and prematurely died of pancreatic cancer in 2019, the Women in Psychiatry Award was renamed in her honor.
