Research
Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is an evidence-based practice (EBP), which means that we have research to support that it works!
Research on ACT spans four decades, and most of the research existed before we had measures of program fidelity (i.e., a metric that indicates to what extent what was studied followed the key ingredients of the ACT model). Â There is also a range of topic-specific research relevant to ACT practice, such as research on integrated co-occurring substance use disorder Treatment and research on wellness management and recovery.
