We developed an explainable AI model that analyzes 3D CBCT scans to automatically classify and measure upper airway obstruction caused by adenoid hypertrophy in children. This tool provides clinicians with clear visual explanations and accurate assessments to support diagnosis and treatment planning.

Dr. Pittleman is a psychologist working in the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities (CIDD) where she provides behavior consultations for medically complex youth and supports the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) training program. She also provides behavior consultations for Pediatric Neurology patients.
