The Department of Pharmacology and the Curriculum in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology held their bi-annual Innovations in Biological Computations Symposium October 27, 2015 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm in the Bioinformatics auditorium. The symposium was well attended, with the auditorium filled to capacity.

The symposium featured five speakers:

  • Thomas Kepler (Boston U.) – “Evolutionary Dynamics in the Antibody Response”
  • Arthur Lander (UC Irvine) – 鈥淪tem cells, lineages, and the logic of proliferative control”
  • Tobias Meyer (Stanford) – Control of polarization, migration and cell steering by small GTPase signaling鈥
  • Bryan Roth (黑料网) – “Illuminating the dark matter of the druggable genome”
  • Zefeng Wang (黑料网) – 鈥淪ystemic Study of alternative splicing in cancers鈥

A reception followed the symposium talks in the Bioinformatics lobby.
