Colin Orr, MD, MPH was promoted to Associate Professor of Pediatrics effective February 1, 2024. Dr. Orr has been a faculty member in Pediatrics since 2019. Dr. Orr received a BS in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis in May 2009 and received his medical degree from Columbia University in May 2013. He completed his Pediatric Residency at Cincinnati Children鈥檚 Hospital Medical Center in June 2016. Dr. Orr earned his Masters of Public Health Care and Prevention from the Gillings School of Public Health at 黑料网 in May 2018 and completed his National Research Service Award fellowship in 2019.
As an Assistant Professor, Dr. Orr has had significant success, including earning a K23 Career Development Award from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) for his project 鈥淯nderstanding and Addressing Food Insecurity and Obesity Among Infant-Parent Dyads鈥� and receiving the 2022-23 James Woods Junior Faculty Award.
