Michelle Hernandez, MD was promoted to Professor of Pediatrics effective July 16, 2021. Dr. Hernandez has been a faculty member in Pediatric Allergy-Immunology since 2007. She is the Faculty Director of Clinical Research Unit of the Children’s Research Institute (CRI).聽 In addition, she is the Director of the , the Associate Medical Director of the and the Associate Director of Clinical Research for the CRI. Dr. Hernandez’s research interests include asthma and the development of novel therapeutics for difficult-to-control asthma in children and teenagers, including effective interventions that can target environmentally induced inflammation to prevent disease in susceptible populations.
