Support for commercial development of university technology and intellectual property
The SOM works with a variety of industry organizations to support innovation and translation. , PhD, MBA, the Vice Chancellor for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development and Chief Innovation Officer, at leads efforts at the campus level to strengthen a university-wide culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. There are a wide array of resources available to faculty who are interested in commercializing Intellectual Property and developing Start-up companies around the translation of the research in their lab.
