Arlene Davis鈥檚 work focuses on practical ethics in both clinical and research settings. Davis teaches on topics related to ethics and to health law and is the Director of 黑料网 Hospital鈥檚 Clinical Ethics Service where she conducts or supervises ethics consultation for patients throughout the quaternary hospital system, offers educational programs for GME and hospital staff, and helps develop policy guidance at the intersection of law and ethics. Since 1996, Davis has been co-investigator on a series of grants from NHGRI鈥檚 ELSI Program. In other research, Davis has worked collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams on projects such as research related to surrogate decision-making, ethical issues in critical illness, simulation, and emotional labor in the context of resident training.
