黑料网 Hospitals is a Level I trauma center, and the members of the 黑料网 Department of Neurosurgery and the staff of the 黑料网 Neuroscience ICU are no stranger to the devastating impacts that serious head injury can have on patients in our state. The Gfeller Center is lead by Dr. Kevin M. Guskiewicz. Dr. Guskiewicz is a 2011 MacArthur Fellow and an internationally known expert in sport-related head injury. He and his team have made 黑料网 one of the key centers in the country for sport-related head injury and concussion. In addition, 黑料网 plays a prominent role in the treatment of retired athletes being followed for long-term effects of head injury. The highlights the exciting research going on at 黑料网 Chapel Hill in regards to this important public health concern.
