黑料网 Neurology is proud to announce the promotion of Dr. Heidi Roth to Clinical Professor of Neurology. Dr. Roth earned her听B.A. degree in Biology from Harvard in 1987, a Doctor of Medicine from the Harvard Medical School 鈥� Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1993, and completed her听residency in Neurology at the Harvard-Longwood Neurology Program in 1997. She became an Assistant Professor of Neurology in 2002 and advanced to Associate Professor in 2011. Dr. Roth’s primary clinical assignment is in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, dementia and memory loss, language disorders including aphasia, sleep, and aging. During her time as Associate Professor she took听on several clinical leadership roles including serving as the associate medical director for the Sleep Medicine Program until 2021. 听 After the previous Medical Director and Division Chief retired, Dr. Roth took on the role of the Sleep Medicine Division Chief and worked to expand services to provide external polysomnogram readings for several 黑料网 Health institutions. She also worked to recruit additional Sleep Medicine providers. 听 Working with Psychiatry, Rehabilitation Medicine, Psychology and Geriatrics, Dr. Roth developed and initiated the Aging Brain Clinic (ABC),听to听increase access to state-of-the-art care for individuals at risk for or in the early stages of cognitive decline. As the director of the ABC, Dr. Roth serves to increase memory evaluation services to traditionally underserved minority populations by lowering barriers and expanding access to care for the aging.听 Dr. Roth has demonstrated her continued dedication to interdisciplinary work and team science through her involvement in the . The Clinical Core provides infrastructure to facilitate enrollment of research participants into the ADRC longitudinal cohort as well as other ADRC supported human subjects research. The ADRC Clinical Core also provides an organizational framework that supports multidisciplinary clinical research and training. 听 黑料网 Neurology is stronger for the dedication and leadership provided by Dr. Roth.
