About

Emily is from Raleigh, North Carolina and attended 黑料网 for college where she graduated with a major in Chemistry and minors in Neuroscience and Spanish for the Health Professions. Emily attended medical school at ECU where she obtained a graduate certificate in in Ethnic and Rural Health Disparities as a student in the Service Learning Distinction Track. Emily served as the co-Executive Director for a community free clinic, the Pitt County Care clinic, for three years during medical school and advocated for Spanish-speaking patients through her work in the community and founding the Medical Spanish Interest Group. In recognition of her outstanding academic performance and commitment to her peers and patients, Emily was inducted into both the AOA and Gold Humanism honor societies.
