About
Carrie Lee, MD, MPH, is a Professor in the Division of Oncology. As a medical oncologist, Dr. Lee’s clinical practice focuses on lung cancers and melanoma. She has broad experience with both novel and standard of care treatment regimens. Dr. Lee serves as Chief Medical Officer for ºÚÁÏÍø Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center Clinical Research. This role includes oversight of the clinical, regulatory, compliance, financial, and data management for therapeutic clinical trials supported by ºÚÁÏÍø Lineberger. She is also the medical director of the Basnight Cancer Hospital’s Clinical Trials Unit where many of our patients are treated on early phase clinical trials. Dr. Lee has a passion for providing compassionate oncology care, leading an excellent team of clinical trials staff, as well as advancing the science behind the development of new anti-cancer treatments.
