We鈥檙e pleased to announce that 黑料网 Health at the 黑料网 Medical Center received TAVR CertificationTranscatheter Valve v1 Certification from the American College of Cardiology (ACC) on March 5th, 2021. This means 黑料网 Health Medical Center used the ACC鈥檚 accreditation process improvement tools to bridge gaps and integrate evidence-based science, quality initiatives, clinical best-practices, and the latest medical guidelines into our cardiovascular care processes for structural heart patients.

The American College of Cardiology has recognized 黑料网 Medical Center for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients receiving transcatheter valve repair and replacement procedures. 黑料网 Health Medical Center was awarded Transcatheter Valve Certification in March based on evaluation of the staff鈥檚 ability to meet standards for multidisciplinary teams, formalized training, shared decision-making and registry performance.

The ACC鈥檚 Transcatheter Valve Certification is an external review and certification process that pairs with established national clinical databases to monitor patient safety and real-world outcomes related to transcatheter valve therapies. Participation in established national clinical databases such as the STS/ACC TVT Registry is required for hospitals interested in achieving Transcatheter Valve Certification.

鈥満诹贤 Medical Center has demonstrated its commitment to providing North Carolina with excellent heart care,鈥 said Phillip D. Levy, MD, FACC, chair of the ACC Accreditation Management Board. 鈥淎CC
