About
Dr. Klein’s clinical focus is with invasive cardiology and the appropriate use of advanced cardiac imaging (cardiac CT, MRI, and nuclear cardiology). Dr. Klein’s most current research efforts have focused on the development of innovative software tools to assist to point-of-care clinical reporting and data capture.
Dr. Klein has been a key member of the Center for Medical Informatics and the physician liaison to the , providing critical guidance towards improving and growing secure, confidential medical data collection for use in clinical trials and other cardiovascular research.
He is the Director of Cardiac Imaging for ºÚÁÏÍø Cardiology, Informatics Director for Cardiology at ºÚÁÏÍø HealthCare, and the Co-Director of the ºÚÁÏÍø Cardiology Clinic at Eastowne in Chapel Hill.
