About
Dr. Ishizawar is an advanced heart failure, transplant cardiologist who also specializes in pulmonary hypertension. He arrived at ºÚÁÏÍø after having practiced at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Medical College of Wisconsin/Froedtert Hospital. At ºÚÁÏÍø, he joins the Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology program and the Pulmonary Hypertension program. While his time is predominantly clinical, he has research interests in exercise hemodynamics and physiology in pulmonary hypertension and heart failure patients as well as pharmacogenomics. He was previously involved in medical education serving as the Program Director for Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology Fellowships at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
