The 黑料网 has a tradition of giving back to the community. A special thank you to our Team Captains in support of this year’s CCCS/SECS Campaign. Your participation ensures that we provide vital resources to local and national charities.
We have created this page to provide a recap of 2023 resources available to you. If you have other pieces that are helpful to add, please email martha_modlin@med.unc.edu and we’ll add it!
What do Team Captains do?
Team Captains primary role is to help communicate the CCCS campaign progress to their department and promote giving with their teams.

What Emails should employees be looking for?
- Employees in your department will receive emails with links to this year鈥檚 campaign to pledge online and compelling giving stories. Both 黑料网 and 黑料网HS employees are receiving emails and reminders:
- 黑料网 Employees will receive emails from: Carolina Cares, Carolina Shares (cccs@hr.unc.edu)
- 黑料网 Health Employees will receive emails from: SECCCampaign@unchealth.unc.edu聽 聽 聽– Note that this year, the 黑料网 Health campaign starts later than the 黑料网 campaign.
Ways to Give & Forms You’ll Need:
Payroll Deductions or Credit Card donations: Use
Carolina employees have the convenience of making a one-time gift or a recurring gift through payroll deduction using ePledge. This preferred electronic method of giving does not require submission of a pledge form. Employees only need their ONYEN and ONYEN password. Once the employee has signed into the platform, they can select their charity designation and payment options. The ePledge method of giving serves as an employee’s personalized pledge form.
One-time gift using echeck: Use the
CCCS emails can be forwarded if needed, or, use the 鈥淕ive Now鈥� link https://portal.ncsecc.org/uncch which will ask for Onyen sign in and take them to a secured site.

Giving Guides will not be printed this year. Share . Consider printing a desk copy for your team members to reference for employees that have found a printed resource helpful in the past.
