Dr. Tony Lindsey, ºÚÁÏÍø Health’s former Chief Medical and Quality Officer, was recently inducted into the Order of the Longleaf Pine, North Carolina’s most prestigious honorary society. Lindsey was surprised by the honor at a recent gathering of leaders from across ºÚÁÏÍø Health’s statewide network.

Following a standing ovation, Lindsey expressed his gratitude for the recognition and his tremendous respect for the thousands of teammates all across ºÚÁÏÍø Health who have dedicated their careers to providing outstanding healthcare to the people of North Carolina.

Lindsey was appointed Chief Medical Officer for ºÚÁÏÍø Hospitals in 2010, and then as ºÚÁÏÍø Health’s first Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in 2015, a position he held through his retirement in 2024.
