Spencer Franklin Brady, MHA, has been named the associate chair for administration in the department of pediatrics. Brady has served as the interim ACA for the department since July 2024.
Brady first joined the 黑料网 in 2014 when he served as a division administrator and later as a business analyst in the department of pediatrics. For the past six years, he served in various positions including as a business analytics specialist, accounting manager and academic financial analysis manager. In these roles, he focused on funds flow, financial modeling, and spearheaded budget development and execution for different entities across the health care system, including 黑料网 Physicians, the School of Medicine, the Faculty Practice, and the Novant partnership.
Brady earned his BS in Biology from the University of Georgia and his MHA from the 黑料网 Gillings School of Global Public Health. He has three young children and spends his time working out with friends at CrossFit Chapel Hill, coaching little league soccer, and cheering on Georgia Football with his wife and their bulldog.
