Applications to the Passing the Torch: Fostering Medical Humanism through Faculty Role Models are being accepted until 11:59PM on Monday, September 30, 2024. Passing the Torch is a faculty development program within the Academy of Educators that is uniquely suited to junior Clinician Educator faculty seeking to develop further patient care and teaching skills with a person-centered model. The program is facilitated by Dr. Jennifer McEntee. More information on the program and the application submission process can be found here. Â
Participants will be expected to attend bi-weekly sessions from October 2024 through June 2025. Depending on the size of the group, these meetings will be virtual and/or in person.
Required Application Materials include:
- Nominee CV, and
- Brief statement from the nominee outlining why they would like to participate (limit to one page)
Optional Application Materials include:
- One-page Letter of Recommendation from the Department Chair, Division Chief, or Designee
