Applications to the聽Passing the Torch: Fostering Medical Humanism through Faculty Role Models聽are being accepted until 11:59PM on Monday, September 30, 2024. Passing the Torch is a聽faculty development program within the Academy of Educators that is uniquely suited to junior Clinician Educator faculty seeking to聽develop further patient care and teaching skills聽with a person-centered model. Participants will be expected to attend bi-weekly sessions from October 2024 through June 2025. Depending on the size of the group, these meetings will be virtual and/or in person.
Required Application Materials include:
- Nominee CV, and
- Brief statement from the nominee outlining why they would like to participate (limit to one page)
Optional Application Materials include:
- One-page Letter of Recommendation from the Department Chair, Division Chief, or Designee
