The 2023 – 2024 Carolina Cares, Carolina Shares State Employees Combined Campaign launched Sept. 28. The campaign aims to strengthen North Carolina communities and provide 黑料网-Chapel Hill employees with an opportunity to make a difference across the state and nationally.
Historically, Carolina is among the state’s top giving institutions. As of the end of November 2023, 黑料网-Chapel Hill employees had given nearly $200,000 – the highest among universities and state agencies.
The 黑料网 has a tradition of giving back to the communities it serves. For employees who would like to learn more about how to participate, the聽 provides a list聽of charities both locally and nationally. The guide outlines hundreds of charities that employees can choose to support and donations can be made by the online form聽 using Onyen/password. Employees who would like to support the work of the SOM/黑料网 Health Foundation may use code 2558.
Giving Tuesday will be on Nov. 28, and the campaign鈥檚 ePledge platform closes at 5 p.m. on Dec. 31. The minimum pledge amount is $3. Questions about School of Medicine participation in the campaign can be sent to聽Martha Modlin, the SOM CCCS division leader.
