Kenya McNeal-Trice, MD, will step down from her roles as chief graduate medical education officer and ACGME designated institution official for 黑料网 Hospitals as well as senior associate dean for graduate medical education in the 黑料网 effective February 2023. She is looking forward to continuing her leadership within the 黑料网 Department of Pediatrics as the vice chair of education, in addition to her statewide role as president of the North Carolina Pediatric Society.
McNeal-Trice will remain in the role until February 2023, ensuring a smooth transition period while a search is underway for her successor.
McNeal-Trice also will continue her national roles in medical education as a member of the Education and Training Committee for the American Board of Pediatrics and the ACGME Pediatric Residency Review Committee. She is also a member of the AAMC Steering Committee for the Group on Women in Medicine and Science, and Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the Academic Pediatric Association.

As the Chief GME Officer, McNeal-Trice successfully led initiatives benefiting trainees, program coordinators, and program directors.聽 She collaborated with 黑料网 Hospitals leadership to expand the staffing and resources within the GME Office, revise the GME Leave Policy, and implement a confidential portal for reporting concerns in the clinical learning environment.
