The 黑料网 Center for Health Innovation is pleased to announce the winners of the eleventh annual Innovation Pilot Awards. Proposals were sought from across 黑料网 Health and 黑料网 faculty and employees for innovations across a spectrum of areas including care delivery, new technology, advanced analytics, and more.

Two projects were selected from the many strong applications received. The proposals demonstrated clear dedication to improving care for our patients and strengthening our health care system and meeting the mission of the 黑料网 Center for Health Innovation.

The winning teams include:

Wearable sensors for continuous blood pressure monitoring of obese women in labor

Use of Digital Inhaler Technology to Improve Outcomes in Asthma: A Feasibility Project and Clinical Study
PI:聽Stephen Tilley, MD (Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine)
Co-PI: Stephen Schworer, MD, PhD (Medicine/Rheumatology, Allergy/Immunology)

鈥淲e are incredibly grateful to every applicant who took their time to submit a proposal for this year鈥檚 Awards,鈥 said Lesley Hall, Director of 黑料网 Health Enterprises.聽 鈥淲e saw many great applications that aimed to tackle a broad range of important health care challenges.聽 The strength of the applicant pool demonstrates that 黑料网 Health is leading the way when it comes to generating ideas for disruptive innovation within healthcare.鈥
