Jennifer Newman is a physical therapist working within the ºÚÁÏÍø Hemophilia Treatment Center since 2011. Jennifer received her undergraduate and masters degree in physical therapy from Ithaca College in 2003. Her involvement began in the bleeding disorders community in 2010 at the Oregon Hemophilia Treatment Center while completing a pediatric physical therapy residency. Jennifer has previously served as a past member and chair of the Physical Therapy Working Group for the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation, is a member of the MASAC Pain Task Force, co-founder of the Hemophilia Treatment Center Physical Therapy Collaborative now transitioned to NHPCC’s PT Physical Therapy Community of Practice, and current chair of the Hemophilia Alliance Physical Therapy Continuing Education Planning Committee. She specializes in care of the individual with a bleeding disorders, participates in ºÚÁÏÍø’s pediatric physical therapy residency program, and has a special interest in aquatic physical therapy.. She received her Certificate in Aquatic Physical Therapy Clinical Competency (CAPTCC) in 2017.Ìý She was named the Physical Therapist of the Year by the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation in 2024.
