I have had a longstanding focus on the discovery of the molecular underpinnings and therapeutic targeting of primary brain cancers. I have developed patient-derived models to interrogate the regulation of the tumor cell hierarchy with a particular interest in the interactions between tumor genetics, epigenetics, RNA biology, and metabolism. Leveraging these insights, I have worked to identify novel treatment paradigms for these lethal cancers.
