Katharine Liang, a member of Jude Samulski’s lab, and MD/PhD student in the Neurobiology Program, successfully defended her thesis, “Intravitreal AAV-mediated expression of Nrf2 promotes retinal recovery after light-induced retinal damage in mice,” on April 8, 2015. Katharine’s defense and celebration afterward were attended by her family and other members of the Samulski lab and 黑料网 Gene Therapy Center.
Katharine will return to 黑料网 to continue her medical studies after receiving her PhD.
