UNIVERSITY TRACK RESIDENT
Hello everyone, my name is Dallas, and I am from the cold and snowy Rochester, NY! I started college in the equally frigid Erie, PA, at Mercyhurst University and transferred back home to St. John Fisher College after my sophomore year. In college I had the privilege to play division II and III soccer, while majoring in biology. In my gap year I worked on a master’s in public health at St. John Fisher, while employed as a behavioral health technician at Rochester General’s inpatient psychiatry unit. Medical school brought me to Campbell University, in Lillington, NC, where I met my now fiancée Meg (a Pediatrics resident at ºÚÁÏÍø)! During my rotational years, I fell in love with being able to wear the many different hats that came with switching specialties. Partnered with my passion for sports and MSK, family medicine became a no brainer.
Family was a major value of mine while captain of my college soccer team, and so when looking for residency programs, I wanted one that worked as a family, while also providing the strongest training possible. ºÚÁÏÍø was the clear number 1. They offered a robust curriculum with a wide range of practice settings, while also maintaining a welcoming and comforting learning environment. Living in North Carolina during medical school allowed me to explore the triangle, and I fell in love with it. North Carolina has a ton to offer, and it was exciting to be able to have more time to enjoy it. My clinical interests include sports medicine, behavioral health, and lifestyle medicine.
Outside of medicine, I live for my family and friends – spending time with my fiancée, brother, parents and beloved friends means everything to me. I enjoy weightlifting, video games, reading, travel and outdoor activities. I am also a massive soccer fan and geek. Go Bills!
