Why Otolaryngology?

Otolaryngology is an amazingly unique specialty that allows for surgical and medical management of patients. The breadth of the field is unmatched, and technically demanding surgeries make the field ever-engaging. Head and neck anatomy is mind-blowing, the patient population is diverse, and the interventions range from life-saving to preserving quality of life.
