The University of North Carolina Department of Emergency Medicine hosts fellowships in seven innovative subspecialties of emergency medicine that support our mission of evolving the care emergency departments offer across our country and the globe.
Our faculty play a leading role in defining criteria for non-ACGME accredited fellowships and work closely with the national organizations overseeing ACGME accredited fellowships.
Our integration into the national community of academic medical centers helps our graduates get excellent jobs, and it is our commitment to all of our graduating fellows that they are prepared to launch a career in the subspecialty of their choosing and help evolve the practice of emergency medicine.
