The Tintinalli-黑料网 Emergency Medicine Prize is a $5,000 cash prize awarded by the 黑料网-Chapel Hill Department of Emergency Medicine in recognition of original and substantive contributions to the field of Emergency Medicine. Named for the founding 黑料网 Department of Emergency Medicine Chair, Dr. Judith Tintinalli, the Prize honors those whose leadership, scholarship, service, and advocacy advance our specialty of Emergency Medicine in creative, meaningful, and lasting ways as did Dr. Tintinalli over three decades. Dr. Tintinalli was president of the American Board of Emergency Medicine from 1989 to 1990 and was the founding president of the Council of Emergency Medicine Residency Directors. She is Editor-in-Chief of the world’s largest selling emergency medicine textbook, Tintinalli’s Emergency Medicine, and is Editor-in-Chief of AccessEmergency Medicine, the McGraw-Hill digital library for emergency medicine.
