William (Bill) Wilson is the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, Infectious Diseases & Antimicrobial Stewardship in the 黑料网 Children’s Hospital.聽Within the Carolina Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, he performs daily reviews of antimicrobial use within Children鈥檚 and provides clinical support to the pediatric clinicians. Wilson is also involved in various initiatives aimed at optimizing the use of antimicrobials within the children鈥檚 hospital. Beyond clinical services, he serves as preceptor to pharmacy students and residents and lectures at the 黑料网 Eshelman School of Pharmacy. He earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kansas.聽

Wilson’s active areas of research include antimicrobial stewardship in the immunocompromised patient, Clostridioides difficile infection in pediatric patients, and posaconazole dose optimization in children
