2024 Brian Kuhlman and two trainees attend Nobel Week

Dr. Brian Kuhlman, along with his trainees Nick Randolph and Amrita Nallathambi, traveled to Sweden to attend the聽2024 Nobel Week. They participated in various activities organized by Rosetta Commons in celebration of Dr. David Baker receiving the Nobel Prize in Chemistry “for computational protein design.”

Tigist Tamir, PhD has joined the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics as a tenure-track Assistant Professor, effective December 16, 2024. Her research focuses on Cell signaling mediated regulation of metabolism and oxidative stress response in obesity and cancer. She will be accepting rotation students in Spring 2025.
